[gita-talk] SAAR BAAT from Swamiji's Satsang

 


Many times swamiji says,  now listen carefully,  pay attention.  What I am about to say now,  I have not read in  books or scriptures ,   rather  I have heard it,  in a particular situation in the company of mahatmas and saints.   
example he says  -  

In the separation between us and Parmatma,  there is no curtain of inertness,  rather the curtain is due to our presumed relation with the inert.   

What are all similar things that Swamiji has said,  which are not in books or scriptures but are revelations from saints and mahatmas that he has heard.   

I would like to know the SAAR points in Swamiji's messages (pravachans) which are unlike any other book or scripture.     References will be very useful,  so I can visit the actual book or pravachan where this was written or said.

The SAAR point of any realized saint or any scripture talking about the TRUTH would not be different from the essence as there is only one essence ( though called by many names such as TATTVA, BRAHM, PARAMAATMA, BHAGAVAAN, etc.). Yes, the thoughts / methods to realize THAT could be different. If your question is about the key thoughts / methods, SwamiJi has provided very simple but very powerful thoughts / methods in very simple words (e.g. "HE NAATH MAIN AAPKO KABHI NAHIN BHULOON",  "MAIN SIRF BHAGAVAAN KAA HOON AUR KISI KAA NAHIN", "MAIN SIRF BHAGAVAAN KE LIYE HOON", ...)  depending upon the sentiments & capabilities of the aspirants to realize THAT quickly. Some of the hints are already given below. I would also suggest you to read "SAADHAN SUDHA SINDHU" to find the best one suited for yourself.

This is what I have understood from SwamiJi to be the most simple but powerful mean to be connected/united/merged with the Supreme.  This is called "SWEEKRITI" (i.e. acceptance) which does not require anything or any instrument between you and the God.  SWEEKRITI is just between you and your own Supreme. Do not imagine anything else between you and the Supreme.
In my understanding, this principle / method is built on the acceptance (i.e. SHRADDHA ) of the fact " MAM EVA ANSH" (Bhagavad Gita – 15/7). Please pay close attention to the word "EVA" which is not less important that you and the Supreme.  In fact, Lord Krishna has also mentioned at many places (e.g.  3/31, 9/3, 17/28, 18/71 ) in Bhagavad Gita about the only requirement of SHRADDHA from the seeker (who does not have any doubt and does not see any fault in the statement ) to know him.

If you are really serious in understanding SAAR BAAT, please read Sadhan Sudha Sindhu Jnana Yoga and Bhakti Yoga sections. They are small chapters. You can pick and choose. Each chapter covers SAAR BAAT. That way you understand the context of what is said also. Just picking one sentence may make you understand concepts in wrong way.

राम राम बहन सरिता!
साधकने परमात्माको देखा नहीं था, जाना नहीं था, माना जरूर था। 
निर्देशानुसार अपना सब कुछ परमात्माको अर्पण करना था तो उलझन सामने आयी कि जिसे कभी देखा
नहीं, जिसे जानते भी नहीं उसको अर्पण कैसे करें? पूछ लिया तो स्वामीजीने बताया, ''सब कुछ परमात्माका ही है। उसको अर्पण करना क्या है? जो भी अर्पण करना हो, उसको अपना मत मानो तो हो गया परमात्माको अर्पण।'' 
मनमें आनेवाली राग-द्वेषकी इच्छाओंसे मुक्ति पानी थी। इसके लिये पूछा कि कैसे करें? तो 
स्वामीजीने मनकी जड़ ही काट दी। कहा,''मनको ही अपना मत मानो।'' उसमें आयी इच्छाओंसे फिर मतलब ही कहाँ रहा? इससे अधिक सरल और सीधा उपाय और क्या हो सकता है? 
11 नवम्बर 2003 के प्रात:कालीन प्रवचन में ये उपाय बताये थे।
