Srimad Bhagavad Gita

Eighteenth Chapter

  
                                             18-24

yattu kāmepsunā karma sāhaṅkāreṇa vā punaḥ
kriyate bahulāyāsaṁ tadrājasamudāhṛtam

But that action which is prompted with great effort by one who seeks to gratify his desires or is done by the egoist feeling that is considered to be Rājasika (passionate).

Comment:

For doing any kind of work every person has to make some physical effort; but due to attachment to the body, man of Rājasika nature wants physical comfort or rest and therefore he feels more strain even while doing a little bit of work.
